What are your hours?Monday through Friday 8-5 or by appointment.Do I have to get more than one estimate for my insurance company?No. You don’t need to waste time running around and paying for estimates. Missouri law states that you only need one estimate of repairs and Don’s Body Shop will negotiate on your behalf with your insurance company. We want to repair your vehicle safely and properly for you and will work towards making that happen.How long will my vehicle repairs take? Do I need a rental car?We know that your time is valuable. When you receive an estimate on your repairs, we will give you the numbers of days the repair will take. Some repairs can be completed by dropping off the vehicle and picking it up the next day. Others may take several days depending on the extent of the damage. Check your insurance policy or call your insurance company to see if you have rental car coverage. We partner with Rental Car Agencies and can arrange for you to have a rental car and to have them pick you up at our location. If you don’t have coverage, we are offered discounted rates and will pass that along to you.Can I get a ride home after dropping off my car?Yes, we provide local pick up and drop off service.Is there a warranty on the repairs to my vehicle?Yes. The deductible is normally paid at the time of pickup and can be prepaid when dropping off the vehicle.What forms of payment do you accept?We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover, checks and cash.What are “betterment” charges?Certain parts wear out over time and use. Parts such as tires, batteries and suspension parts are usually subject to betterment charges when they are replaced during the repair. These charges are determined by your insurance company and are pro-rated based on actual miles on your vehicle.Where do I get my claim number?After your accident when you contact your insurance company they will assign a claim number. Please write down this claim number and contact us at (314) 429-2094. One of our friendly staff will walk you through the process of getting your vehicle repaired. We will also handle your insurance claim for you including any additional work that may not of been found initially.Will the parts be ordered before I drop off my vehicle?Yes. We want to return your vehicle to you as quickly as possible. Most insurance companies require this and will help to shorten the length of time for the repair. You may also drop it off and we can arrange a rental immediately for you.Can you match a specific paint color?

What is paintless dent repair? (PDR)
Paintless dent repair provides a less expensive solution to repairing door dings, hail damage, shopping cart crashes, etc. This process also takes less time so your vehicle can be back to you quickly, looking smooth again.
If the frame of my vehicle is damage, is it a total loss?
No. A vehicle is a total loss only when the price of the repair exceeds the insurance company's determined value of your vehicle. These days most cars are built using unibody (frame and body as one) construction. Our highly skilled technicians, with the aid of our state-of-the-art measuring system, can return your vehicle to its original factory specifications. If it is determined that the frame section is bent beyond repair, that section can simply be replaces.
Can I wash my car?
Within the first 30 days we recommend that you wash your vehicle by hand with cool water and a very mild car wash solution using a soft cloth or sponge. Do this in the shade and always use clean fresh water and it will help to protect your new paint job. DO NOT use a commercial car wash for 90 DAYS. Stiff brushes could damage the finish. In the first 30 days avoid gravel roads and parking under trees and utility lines which attract birds and could have tree sap. During the winter time do not scrape ice or snow from a newly painted surface. Doing the things listed above will help to maintain your vehicle's newly painted surface.

What to do after an accident?
• If you are uncomfortable driving your vehicle, feeling that it is not safe or have any lights that are not working call Don's Body Shop for towing service at 314.429-2094.
• If your vehicle is drivable, stop by and let us assist you in making your insurance claim. We have years of experience working with insurance companies. We are approved by all insurance companies to repair your vehicle. You may leave your vehicle at that time or you may schedule it in at your convenience.
• If you make your own insurance claim, write down your claim number and call us. We can handle all aspects of your claim, including your rental vehicle.
• If you would like an estimate or have any questions regarding your vehicle, stop by our location at 3128 Woodson Road. We will be more than happy to assist you.
